Did you know that River Rocks are actually Beach Pebbles that have been landlocked? The Earth used to look a lot different. In fact, most of the State of Georgia was once covered by sea water. When the ancient seas receded, beach pebbles became trapped in what are now our rivers and lakes and became "River Rocks."
